Are you passionate about the future of Baw Baw Shire? There is still time to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to be part of a new community panel that will play a key role in shaping the future of our Shire.
The panel will be formed from a diverse group of community members who will provide valuable input and ideas which will contribute to development of the Council Plan 2025 – 29, as well as a suite of other strategic documents including the Community Vision, Municipal Public Health and Wellbeing Plan, Asset Plan, and Finance Plan.
Panel members (aged 18 and above) will be randomly selected and will represent the community's views, ensuring Council decisions reflect the needs and aspirations of Baw Baw residents.
The deadline to apply to be on the panel is approaching, so don't miss the chance to have your say and contribute to the development of the Council Plan, which will guide priorities and decisions for the next four years.
Expressions of Interest will close at 11:59PM on Sunday 8 December 2024.

The survey is available online, and can be completed by visiting Baw Baw Connect, Council's online engagement platform.

Baw Baw Shire Mayor Councillor Danny Goss is calling on residents to share their perspectives, both through the Council Plan survey and by nominating to join the community panel.
"We are committed to working in partnership with our community to create a shared vision for the future, and this is the community's chance to have their views heard and help shape the future of our Shire," said Cr Goss.
Central Ward Councillor Paul Pratt is encouraging as much community participation as possible.
"Whether by having your say as a part of the panel or completing the Council Plan survey, every contribution matters. We encourage everyone to get involved and make their mark on the next four years of Baw Baw," said Cr Pratt.
