Renew Your Pet's Registration Today

Pet owners are reminded to renew their four-legged friends' registration by 10 April this year.

City of Casey Mayor Cr Stefan Koomen said pet registration plays an important role in keeping animals safe and connected to their families.

"Registration is the best form of identification for your pets. It helps Council officers quickly identify and return your pet if it becomes lost. Between 1 July 2025 and 31 March 2026, 386 animals were reunited with their owners - 296 dogs and 90 cats," he said.

Registration fees help Council deliver important services that support the whole community, including education programs on responsible pet ownership and animal services such as ranger patrols, animal shelters, and emergency response for injured animals.

All dogs and cats aged three months and over must be registered.
