Renewable energy video games to light up National Science Week

It's on like Exciton! Kids and adults alike are set to find themselves hooked on a new series of renewable energy-themed video games commissioned by the ARC Centre of Excellence in Exciton Science to mark National Science Week (15-23 August) in 2020.

Created by Australian-based developers Mighty Serious, with the support of the Australian Government's Inspiring Australia initiative, the games address the subjects of lasers, fluorescent nanoparticles and solar cells, which are representative of Exciton Science's world-leading research expertise.

Professor Paul Mulvaney, Director of Exciton Science, said: "We're really excited to combine the fascinating and important research themes of Exciton Science with a fun, informative series of games that are equally enjoyable for children and grown-ups.
