Renewed appeal as serious concerns held for man missing from Newtown

Police are renewing their appeal for public assistance as serious concerns are held for a man missing from Sydney's Inner West.

Craig Armstrong, aged 49, was last seen on Church Street, Newtown, Thursday morning (18 August 2022).

When he could not be contacted or located, officers attached to Inner West Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into Craig's whereabouts.

Concerns are held for Craig's welfare as his disappearance is out of character and he lives with an intellectual disability.

Craig is described as being of Caucasian appearance, of medium build, about 170cm tall, with a bald head and grey beard.

He is known to frequent the Newtown area.
