Council has received reports of ill and deceased lorikeets, particularly around the Gladesville area, and is investigating.
In the meantime the community is encouraged to call Sydney Metropolitan Wildlife Services or WIRES and provide an exact location to enable the organisations to collect the birds and investigate the cause of their illness or death.
