Residents urged to imagine new playspace

Residents are invited to provide input into the design of a world-class inclusive playspace at Rippleside on the Geelong waterfront.

The City has partnered with Variety – the Children's Charity to construct a new play area for children of all abilities at Rippleside Park.

The community dedicated an enormous amount of resources and money to help deliver the existing playground in 2001, with more than 1500 volunteers involved in its creation.

With the outdated playground now in need of replacement, the City is looking to again meet the needs of the community and design a modern and compliant regional-level facility.

A survey, released this week, is aimed at understanding what play experiences and equipment should be considered in the design.
