A Richmond woman has confessed she experienced sweaty hands and the shakes after uncovering a $100,000 Instant Scratch-Its top prize win.
The Melbourne resident's winning $5 Break the Bank ticket was purchased at Victoria Gardens Lotto, Kiosk 3, Victoria Gardens Shopping Centre, 620 Victoria Street, Richmond.
When we spoke with the winning woman, she relived the thrilling moment she discovered her top prize win.
"It still feels like a dream! I keep thinking I'm going to wake up and it's going to be over," she said.
"Ever since I scratched the winning ticket, I've had anxiety that I'm carrying around a $100,000 winning ticket in my wallet.
"I just keep replaying the moment I scratched the ticket and realised I'd won $100,000.
"I couldn't work. I couldn't concentrate. I honestly couldn't do anything for the rest of the day.
"I just need to take a deep breath.
"It just feels amazing! I hope everyone can experience something like this in their lifetime."
With $100,000 heading her way, the grateful winner looked forward to dusting off her passport and booking an overseas holiday.
"We've been wanting to book a holiday to Hawaii for a little while, and now we can!" she said.
"We're going to enjoy it even more now.
"We want to try and keep things private, but we'll surprise our family by shouting them small things here and there."
