Rider critically injured in Moorabbin collision

Detectives from the Major Collision Investigation Unit are investigating following a three-vehicle collision in Moorabbin this morning.

Emergency services were called to the scene following reports of a collision between two cars and a motorcycle at the intersection of Warrigal and South roads shortly before 6.30am.

It is believed a turning vehicle has struck another car and a motorcycle.

The motorcycle rider was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The driver of a second car has minor injuries.

The driver of the turning vehicle stopped at the scene and is assisting police with their enquiries.

The exact circumstances of the collision are yet to be determined and the investigation is ongoing.
