Rider Dies After Crash Near Cowra

A motorcycle rider has died after a crash in the state's western region today.

About 2.45pm (Sunday 2 August 2026), emergency services were called to Kentucky Road, near Pennsylvania Road, Neville, about 60km east of Cowra, following reports of a crash.

Officers attached to Chifley Police District attended and found that a motorcycle and utility had collided.

The rider – a 40-year-old man – was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics; however, died at the scene.

The driver of the utility – a 20-year-old man – was uninjured and taken to hospital for mandatory testing.

Police have established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the cause of the crash.
