Rider dies after Narre Warren collision

A man has died following a collision between a motorbike and a car in Narre Warren last night.

Police have been told the collision occurred when the male rider, who was travelling north on Narre Warren Road, collided into the back of a Holden Commodore sedan travelling in the same direction about 9.45pm.

Sadly, the 30-year-old Officer man died at the scene.

The driver of the car was taken to hospital for treatment but was not seriously injured.

Police are investigating whether speed was a factor in the crash.
