Dry weather means roadworks on both The Lakes Way / Blackhead Road roundabout and Old Bar Road will restart this week – road users should expect delays.
The recent wet weather forced contractors to stop work temporarily.
On and around The Lakes Way / Blackhead Road intersection, work including, patching, bitumen spray sealing and asphalt works are planned to restart this week and continue over the next two weeks.
On Old Bar Road, asphalting works are scheduled to start this week and continue over the next ten days.
Timelines on both projects are dependent on the weather, with dry conditions essential to ensure the work meets quality standards.
Council and the contractors thank the community for their patience and understanding.
