Robbery with violence at Ashgrove, QLD

Police have issued two boys with notices to appear following investigations into a robbery at Ashgrove last night, Queensland Police say.

Around 11.30pm, it is alleged the pair entered the Waterworks Road Service Station, walked behind the counter and took tobacco products.

It will further be alleged, when the store attendant attempted to stop them, the boys assaulted him, punching him in the head.

Officers located the pair in a car not far from the scene a short time later.

The boys, aged 15 and 17 have each been issued with a notice to appear on one count of robbery with violence.
