Expressions of Interest (EOI) for an Organics Processing Solution are now open for public consideration.

The establishment of an Organics Processing Facility will form a major part of the kerbside organics business case to help overcome key challenges and barriers for a full regional rollout.

The Organics Processing Facility will be a location where organic waste materials are processed and converted into other valuable products, such as compost or fertiliser.

Businesses and organisations of all sizes are encouraged to submit an application. EOI submissions will be shortlisted, and selected applicants will be eligible to participate in the subsequent written tender process.

Respondents are requested to submit separate proposals for the processing solutions of both Food Organics & Garden Organics (FOGO) and Garden Organic (GO) wastes, with the optional inclusion of self-haul unprocessed green waste.

To submit an Expression of Interest, visit the QTenders website here: https://bit.ly/4bzSPYj.
