Rocks thrown at car and assault - Craigieburn

Police have released a digital image of a man they would like to speak to after an incident where another man was assaulted and had his car damaged in Craigieburn last month.

Investigators have been told an unknown man threw rocks at a Holden Barina which was parked outside a house about 9.30pm on Thursday 27 February.

The unknown man then alerted the vehicle's owner, a 19-year-old man, about the damage and as he went outside to look at the vehicle, he was subsequently assaulted.

The Craigieburn man suffered minor injuries. The offender fled on foot.

Police have released the below digital image of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The man is perceived to be Caucasian with a solid build with a bald head.

No arrests have been made at this stage and the investigation is ongoing.
