Rosanna impound

Officers from Greensborough Highway Patrol have impounded a motorcycle after it was allegedly detected travelling 74km/h over the speed limit in Rosanna this morning.

Police detected the motorcycle on Lower Plenty Road about 1.35am at 134km/h in a 60km/h zone.

Officers intercepted the bike and spoke to the rider, a 30-year-old man from Lalor.

He is expected to be charged on summons with speed dangerous and other traffic offences.

The bike has been impounded for 30 days with towing costs of $969.
