RSPCA NSW Seizes 37 Animals from Upper Hunter Region

Friday 24 November, a team of inspectors attended a property in the Upper Hunter Region after receiving intel that a person subject to a prohibition order had animals in their care. Numerous animals were located in varying conditions including guinea pigs, dogs, fish, bearded dragons, a rabbit and a cat. A total of 37 animals were seized, including a deceased fish. All animals were admitted into our care, where they are undergoing veterinary assessments and receiving treatment as needed.
