Consultation open - Rule Change Proposal (RC_2025_01) - Supplementary Reserve Capacity Amendments
The Coordinator of Energy (Coordinator) has published his Draft Rule Change Report for Rule Change Proposal.
The Rule Change Proposal proposes a change to the eligible sources of supplementary capacity that are Eligible Services under clause 4.24.3 of the Electricity System and Market (ESM) Rules.
The Coordinator's draft decision is to reject the Rule Change Proposal. Information on the Rule Change Proposal and the Coordinator's Draft Rule Change Report, including the reasons for the Coordinator's draft decision, can be found on the Rule Change: RC_2025_01 web page.
Stakeholders have until 5:00pm (AWST) on 16 February 2026 to submit feedback on the Draft Rule Change Report.
