SA business welcomes slow but steady road to living with COVID

"SA businesses welcome the easing of some restrictions when state borders re-open on 23 November as outlined in the State's roadmap to living with COVID announced today," Jodie van Deventer, SA Head of the peak employer association Ai Group, said today.

"This slow but steady COVID roadmap gives business and the community a clearer understanding of the path ahead as we move towards a 90 per cent vaccination rate.

"There is no doubt that many businesses will face ongoing stress to their operations until vaccination targets are reached, restrictions are eased further and international borders are fully reopened.

"We would like to see rapid antigen testing playing a greater role to reduce disruptions. We look forward to working with the Government to keep businesses operating as close to full capacity as possible during this transition period," Ms van Deventer said.
