We are asking drivers to travel at safe speeds to make our streets more welcoming for everyone.
Local residents have shared why slowing down is important to them: Sumeet from Vermont said: "I feel good when I see people out and about during my commutes to work." Max from Burwood East said: "I'm a bit slower now so when drivers travel at safe speeds, I know they will see me." A local primary school student said: "I like to walk to school with my brother, so I don't have to wait for mum or dad."
