Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are seeking information regarding a fatal crash that occurred in Safety Bay on Saturday, 21 October 2023.
Between 3pm and 3.15pm, an 82-year-old man was riding an electric tricycle on Royal Road in a southerly direction.
At the intersection or Royal Road and Safety Bay Road the man fell from the tricycle and hit his head on the ground. He sustained critical head injuries and was conveyed to Royal Perth Hospital where he later died.
Investigators urge anyone with information relating to this incident, or who saw the man riding the tricycle in the area prior to the crash, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or via www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
