Today, Administrator Samantha Power spoke with UN World Food Program (WFP) Executive Director Cindy McCain. Administrator Power congratulated Executive Director McCain on taking the helm leading WFP, and Administrator Power and Executive Director McCain discussed how USAID and WFP will continue working together to tackle the world's food crises. Executive Director McCain highlighted her key priorities for WFP, and Administrator Power reaffirmed USAID's commitment to working with WFP as its largest donor to meet the needs of the most vulnerable around the world.
