Sandy Gully Fatal Crash

Major Crash Investigators are seeking information regarding a fatal crash in Sandy Gully (near Northampton) yesterday afternoon, Friday 14 February 2020.
About 1:55pm a blue Ford Falcon sedan was being driven north on Port Gregory Road, Sandy Gully, when it appears the driver failed to negotiate a bend in the road, resulting in the vehicle leaving the road and striking a tree.
The two passengers in the vehicle, who are believed to be an 81-year-old man and a 79-year-old woman, both from Kalbarri, died at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle, a 45-year-old man from Kalbarri, received serious leg/foot injuries and was taken to Geraldton Regional Hospital by St John Ambulance.
