Don’t forget to book your child’s place in SAPOL’s popular school holiday road safety program, according to SA Police!
The free two-hour program, held at our Road Safety Centre in Thebarton, provides an excellent opportunity for children to gain vital road safety education.
Kids will take part in a classroom session, followed by a practical session of bike riding on our mock roadway, to put their new knowledge into practice.
All equipment is supplied and the Road Safety Centre has a range of bicycles to cater for all riders.
Four sessions, covering two age groups, are being offered at Thebarton Police Barracks, Port Road, Thebarton from 10am to 12pm:
- Tuesday, 2 October for children 5 – 8 years
- Friday, 5 October for children 5 – 8 years
- Monday, 8 October for children 9 – 12 years
- Wednesday, 10 October for children 5 – 8 years.
Spaces are limited, so to make a booking please contact the Road Safety Section via email at [email protected] from 9am on Wednesday 19 September. Please include following details in the email:
- preferred date
- name of participant
- age of participant
- parent/Guardian name / phone number/ postal address / email
- participants medical issues
- participants riding ability.
A member of the Road Safety Section will then confirm your booking.
