Search and rescue, Mapleton

Police and State Emergency Service personnel are this evening searching for a missing man in the Mapleton Falls National Park area.

41-year-old Adam Little, pictured below, was last seen leaving an Affleck Avenue address at Petrie about 8am on Thursday (September 2).

Based on initial investigations, police believe Adam is the Mapleton Falls area and have commenced a search to locate the man.

Family members and police hold serious concerns for Adam's welfare as he has a medical condition.

Adam is described as 180cm in height, Caucasian, with short blond hair and blue eyes.

Police are urging Adam, or anyone with information on his whereabouts, to contact them immediately.
