Police and emergency services have located the body of a woman following a search and rescue operation at Goldsborough this afternoon, 04 May.
Initial information indicates about 3pm, a 28-year-old woman was kayaking in Mulgrave River with a man and boy when she has fallen into the water and failed to resurface.
A search was immediately launched, involving police, Water Police, police drones, and Queensland Fire and Rescue swiftwater rescue crews.
The woman was located deceased about 5pm.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
