Second person charged after incident in Northbridge

Perth Detectives have charged a second person in relation to an incident in Northbridge on Saturday, 19 December 2020 in which an 18-year-old man received serious facial injuries.

It is alleged about 12.01am, two groups of people became involved in a physical altercation outside a restaurant located at the intersection of James and Lake Streets in Northbridge.

During the incident it is alleged an 18-year-old male victim was assaulted and when he fell to the ground.

It is alleged whilst the victim was unconscious on the pavement he was kicked the victim in the head by an 18-year-old man.

Yesterday, 23 December 2020 Perth Detectives charged the 18-year-old man from Attadale with:-

• Grievous Bodily Harm.

A second charged of Grievous Bodily Harm has been laid in relation to another incident that occurred in Claremont on 13 November 2020, in which a 20-year-old man was injured.

He is due to appear before the Perth Magistrates Court today, 24 December 2020.
