Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken spoke today with Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry on the importance of the strategic partnership between the United States and Egypt. The Secretary and the Foreign Minister exchanged views on recent developments regarding Ukraine, support for elections in Libya, and issues of regional and bilateral concern.
During the call, Secretary Blinken reaffirmed the importance of human rights in the bilateral relationship.
