In damning revelations, Labor figures have exposed Dean Winter's strategy to blow up the Parliament in a bid to grab power.
Mr Winter's private office has confirmed his deal with the Greens was a purely personal attack on Jeremy Rockliff.
Make no mistake, Dean Winters selfish grab for power has nothing to do with the Budget or what's best for Tasmania.
It has everything to do with removing his biggest threat to becoming Premier: Jeremy Rockliff.
Explosive texts sent by a member of Mr Winter's inner sanctum reveal his true motives:
"….proves exactly why turfing Rockliff is such a good move for us."
"He's so popular with punters."
When pushed to clarify:
"If Rockliff isn't there, it's easier for us to win the next election?"
These messages are proof that the only person Dean Winter cares about is himself.
The only job he cares about is Jeremy Rockliff's.
He will say and do anything to grab power.
Just five days ago Mr Winter claimed in Parliament "this wasn't personal", but was about "putting Tasmania's interests first, not short-term political interests".
He cannot be trusted.
He is not fit to govern.
