Series of fires at Albany

Albany Detectives are seeking information regarding several fires that occurred in Albany during the early hours of Wednesday, 13 October 2021.

Between 12.15am and 8am, unknown offender(s) have set alight rubbish bins in an attempt to set fire to, and cause damage to several buildings. These buildings include a Real Estate office located on York Street, a toy store located on Peels Place and a pharmacy on York Street.

Anyone with information relating to these fires, or with dash-cam or CCTV is asked to contact Albany Detectives on 9892 9340 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. Information can also be reported online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au. People reporting information via Crime Stoppers may remain anonymous if they wish.

Rewards of up to $25,000 are available for information that leads to the identification and conviction of an arsonist.
