Serious assault charges, Chermside

Three men have been charged following investigations into the alleged assault of a group of construction workers at a north Brisbane hospital last month.

Around 12:15pm on Thursday, August 28, the three men entered the Prince Charles Hospital where it be alleged, they assaulted and robbed four tradesmen inside before fleeing.

The four alleged victims were treated at the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

The three men aged 25, 34, and 22, who police will allege are Finks OMCG associates, have been charged with serious assault, assault occasioning bodily harm whilst armed, armed robbery and enter premises to commit indictable offence.

Two of the men have appeared in the Brisbane Magistrates Court where they were remanded to reappear on October 11.

A 22-year-old Daisy Hill man is expected to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court later today.

Investigators are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or has further information to contact police.
