Serious traffic crash in Runcorn, QLD

Police are investigating a serious traffic crash that occurred this afternoon in Runcorn.

Initial investigations suggest that shortly after 3.30pm, a motorcycle and an SUV collided at the intersection of Nemies and Persse Roads in Runcorn.

A 35-year-old man that was riding the motorbike was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital and is currently in a critical but stable condition.

The driver of the SUV did not suffer any physical injures as a result of the crash.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
