Service station robbed; police probe in Tempe

Police are investigating after a business was robbed in Sydney’s inner west, NSW Police say.

Just before 11pm yesterday (Tuesday 22 May 2018), a man entered a service station on the Princess Highway, Tempe, and approached the counter.

The man threatened an employee and demanded cash, before leaving the store and running toward Terry Street.

The store attendant was not injured.

Officers attached to Inner West Police Area Command established a crime scene and commenced an investigation.

The man is described as being 165cm tall with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a black hooded-jumper with a blue logo, black tracksuit pants and a scarf around his face.

Inquiries are continuing.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
