City Lifeguards have warned a large swell could create unstable conditions across the Gold Coast today.
All beaches north of Fourth Avenue Burleigh are closed today.
Only swim between the flags and heed the directions of lifeguards and life savers.
Beach conditions and closure updates will be assessed tomorrow morning.

Operation Clean Up kerbside collection is scheduled to start from Wednesday 17 January for the following suburbs:
- Biggera Waters
- Coombabah
- Hollywell
- Hope Island
- Paradise Point
- Runaway Bay
- Upper Coomera
