Flooded and closed roads

Flood warnings are in place for the Albert and Logan Rivers. Residents living near these waterways need to STAY INFORMED and MONITOR CONDITIONS as they may experience minor flooding later today or into the evening which could impact property.

All Gold Coast residents are urged to remain at home and stay off the roads until the severe weather has passed.

The Bureau of Meterology is predicting intense rainfall late this afternoon and into the evening and the City is expecting more road closures throughout the day.
