Creative Carlton will return to Carlton Parade on Saturday 6 February 2027, and Expressions of Interest now open for performers, food vendors and community groups interested in being part of this exciting community festival.
Council is seeking local performers, artists and creatives to help shape the event program and showcase the breadth of talent within the community. Community performers will play a central role in the festival, ensuring strong local representation and broad audience appeal.
Creative Carlton is a vibrant, family-friendly event celebrating Carlton's growing creative community that features a diverse program of live performances, hands-on workshops and a circus playground designed to entertain visitors of all ages.
In addition to staged performances, opportunities are available for roving performers to engage with visitors throughout the day and contribute to the festival atmosphere.
Expressions of Interest are also being sought from food stall operators and food truck vendors to provide a range of food and refreshments throughout the event. The festival offers a valuable opportunity for local businesses to connect with the community while providing a variety of dining options for attendees.
Council is also inviting expressions of interest for family-focused activities, including face painting and other interactive experiences that encourage participation and contribute to the festival's welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
With entertainment, creative experiences and activities for all ages, Creative Carlton promises to be a lively celebration of local talent and community spirit.
