Shots fired into Guildford home

Police are appealing for public assistance after shots were fired at a home in Sydney's west this morning.

Just after 5am (Thursday 2 July 2020), police were called to a home on Woodstock Street, Guildford, following reports shots had been fired.

Officers from Cumberland Police Area Command attended and established a crime scene, which will be examined by specialist forensic officers.

Eight people – including six children – were home at the time.

A 17-year-old girl sustained a minor laceration from broken glass; however, she did not require medical treatment.

The other occupants were not injured.

A ninth person was in a granny flat at the property and was also not injured.

No arrests have been made and inquiries continue.
