The Community Carols Choir are back for another year, rehearsing weekly ahead of the City of Whittlesea Carols by Candlelight on Friday 9 December where they will perform live on stage alongside the Diamond Valley Brass Band.
The choir started more than 20 years ago, with many members coming back year after year to meet new people across the City of Whittlesea and spread festive cheer through song.
With almost 30 members, the 2022 choir has members of all ages, suburbs and backgrounds.
"After two years of streamed and hybrid Carol events, it's so exciting to be back together in person with the wonderful community singers at Whittlesea," said choir leader Flip Case.
"It feels like a warm hug seeing familiar faces, sharing our stories and revisiting our favourite songs."
