Submissions are now open for Advanced City, Advanced Food, Advanced Microbiome, and Advanced Psychology
HOBOKEN, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Wiley (NYSE: WLY), a global leader in authoritative content and research intelligence, today announced the launch of four additional new journals in its prestigious Advanced Portfolio, one of the world's top-tier research journal series. Advanced City, Advanced Food, Advanced Microbiome, and Advanced Psychology have each now begun accepting submissions.
The Advanced Portfolio is Wiley's premier collection of impactful, multidisciplinary journals, spanning titles across life, health, physical, and social science disciplines. Anchored by flagship interdisciplinary journal Advanced Science and the world-renowned Advanced Materials, the portfolio's distinctive editorial approach-built on close collaboration between authors and editors-has earned the trust of the scientific community for more than three decades.
These four new journals continue the rapid expansion of the portfolio, bringing the number of new titles launched this year to 10 and increasing the collection to a total of 36 journals. The expansion demonstrates Wiley's commitment to accelerate science that addresses humanity's most pressing challenges across a wide range of disciplines.
"In February, Wiley pledged to expand the Advanced Portfolio significantly by adding eight new journals by the end of the year, and we have not only kept that promise but surpassed it," said Allyn Molina, group vice president of publishing development at Wiley. "We continue to build toward our goals of launching premium options across every field of science and providing researchers with prestigious yet accessible venues for their breakthrough work."
