- Six finalists vying for 2018 Community Partnership Resources Sector Award
- The Resources Sector Awards for Excellence will be held on October 25
Mines and Petroleum Minister Bill Johnston today announced the six finalists for the 2018 Community Partnership Resources Sector Award.
The award is judged against three assessment criteria: leadership and innovation in establishing a partnership, benefits of the collaboration, and a demonstrated commitment to providing enduring and sustainable outcomes.
Education and employment, health and wellbeing, regional infrastructure and economic benefits are the focus of the six partnerships.
The awards are part of the Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety's annual Resources Sector Awards for Excellence, which also include the Golden Gecko Award for Environmental Excellence and the Safety and Health Resources Sector Awards.
The Awards for Excellence will be held on Thursday October 25, 2018.
