Smart Casey Innovation Festival creating positive change with community

The City of Casey is set to launch its annual Smart Casey Innovation Festival this November with a series of engaging free events providing opportunities to learn about smart city sensors, open data, circular economy partnerships, local innovation projects and more.

After the success of previous Smart Casey Innovation Festivals, the 2022 program, which runs from 10 November to 17 November, aims to connect and inspire the community to drive innovation across Casey.

City of Casey Chair of Administrators Noelene Duff PSM said that the focus for this year's festival is to build on the impact of the Smart Casey Launchpad program.

"We aim to provide opportunities for partners to showcase their work and connect innovative community members who are making positive change in the Casey community," Ms Duff said.

"During the festival week, there is something for everyone to get involved in, with a range of free activities to spark your curiosity, connect with each other, and get inspired to create new ways to make Casey an even better place to live, play and work."
