Smart Energy partners with Cancer Council NSW

Cancer Council NSW

Cancer Council NSW is excited to announce a partnership with Smart Energy. We speak with CEO Elliot Hayes about the partnership and why they've chosen to come on board.

1. What are the reasons that attracted Smart Energy to partner with Cancer Council NSW?

Smart Energy wanted to partner with Cancer Council NSW as we are strong believers in what they do and their vision for a future that is free from cancer. This collaboration is a small way for us to support their critical work, and it's also fantastic for Smart Energy customers to know that part of the money they spend on their power bills is going towards supporting such an important Australian cause.

2. How is Smart Energy planning to support Cancer Council NSW?

Smart Energy is donating $1 from every single monthly 'Feel Good' electricity bill to Cancer Council NSW. This means every time our customers pay their bill, they will be helping Australians affected by cancer and their families. Smart Energy will also be participating in Cancer Council NSW charity events throughout the year.

3. What are you looking forward to as part of this partnership?

We're looking forward to being able to provide our customers with an energy plan that Feels Good – something that's more than just a paper bill that they dread getting in the mail. Smart Energy customers will know that their electricity bill is going towards something great – to create a better future for those who are impacted by cancer. We are also excited to work closely with Cancer Council NSW to attend charity events and promote their research and fundraising activities.

4. Why is it that businesses support charities like Cancer Council NSW?

Charities like Cancer Council NSW provide a vital service for people who are affected by cancer – those living with the disease, survivors, carers and family members. We believe in supporting Australian charities that are doing great things in the community and supporting people who are in need.
