Solo Rider Critically Injured in Langwarrin Crash

Police are investigating a serious collision Langwarrin this evening.

It is believed a motorcycle, which was travelling eastbound on Cranbourne-Frankston Road, struck a Toyota Yarris as it was making a right turn into a nearby carpark about 8.25pm.

It is understood the motorcycle did not have lights on at the time of the collision.

The rider, a 16-year-old boy, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene to render assistance.

The investigation remains ongoing.

Investigators are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision, as well as anyone with dash cam footage.
