South Australia coronovirus update as at 17 September

The Department of Health has reported one new case of COVID-19 in Western Australia overnight.

The confirmed case – a man in his 60s – returned to Perth from overseas and is in hotel quarantine.

The State's total now stands at 661. There are four active cases being monitored.

To date, 648 confirmed cases have recovered from the virus in WA.

Yesterday 515 people presented to WA COVID-19 clinics – 499 were assessed and 497 swabbed.

There have been 392,908 COVID-19 tests performed in WA. Of those tested, 67,552 were from regional WA.
