South Australia coronovirus update as at 26 October

The Department of Health has reported two new cases of COVID-19 in Western Australia overnight.

The confirmed cases – one male and one female both in their 30s – returned to Perth from overseas. They are in hotel quarantine.

The State's confirmed COVID-19 case total is now 762.

WA Health is monitoring 53 active cases and 700 people have recovered from the virus.

Yesterday 556 people presented to WA COVID-19 clinics – 553 were assessed and 552 swabbed.

There have been 478,376 COVID-19 tests performed in WA. Of those tested, 80,962 were from regional WA.
