South Australia coronovirus update as at 27 October

The Department of Health has reported two new cases of COVID-19 in Western Australia overnight.

The confirmed cases are children, aged 1 and 8, who returned to Perth from overseas with their families. They are in hotel quarantine.

The State's confirmed COVID-19 case total is now 764.

WA Health is monitoring 55 active cases and 700 people have recovered from the virus.

Yesterday 673 people presented to WA COVID-19 clinics – 667 were assessed and swabbed.

There have been 480,530 COVID-19 tests performed in WA. Of those tested, 81,175 were from regional WA.
