South Australia coronovirus update as at 28 August

The Department of Health has reported two new cases of COVID-19 in Western Australia overnight, bringing the State's total to 655.

Both cases are returned overseas travellers who are in hotel quarantine.

WA has nine active COVID-19 cases – six Western Australians and three from interstate.

To date, 637 confirmed cases have recovered from the virus in WA.

Yesterday 763 people presented to WA COVID-19 clinics – 736 were assessed and 732 were swabbed.

There have been 337,403 COVID-19 tests performed in WA. Of those tested, 58,272 were from regional WA.
