South Windsor Accessible Playground Is Growing

picture of a child running through the playspace at Church Street ReserveSouth Windsor's much-loved accessible playground on Church Street is getting even bigger!

Thanks to funding from the Federal Government through the Investing in Our Communities program, the $300,000 upgrade includes the installation of more accessible play equipment, shade sails, two new picnic shelters, bubbler, improved pathway connections and new signage.

The project will encourage families to stay longer and make it easier for everyone to access the play space. It builds upon the original accessible play space built in 2018 with $500,000 funding through the NSW Everyone Can Play program.

Work is now commencing on the site. Access to the existing play space will be maintained during construction, which is scheduled to be completed by mid December, weather permitting.
