Southbank bicycle burglar

Melbourne Crime Investigations Unit detectives are hoping to identify a man following a burglary at a Southbank apartment building last month.

It is believed the man gained entry to the secure car park of the Southbank Boulevard before scaling a fence into a bicycle storage cage just after 5pm on 25 June.

Once inside the cage the man selects a bicycle before riding out of the building.

Investigators have released CCTV images of a man who they believe will be able to assist with their enquiries.

Anyone who recognises the man or with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au
