Special Presidential Envoy for Climate John Kerry will travel to Brest, France February 10-11 to participate in the One Planet Summit for the Ocean ("One Ocean Summit") sponsored by the Government of France. Secretary Kerry will engage governments, international institutions, businesses, and civil society organizations to scale up the international community's ambition and identify solutions to the greatest challenges facing our ocean.
The One Ocean Summit is the first of several major ocean events in 2022 and an important milestone in the lead-up to the Our Ocean Conference, which will be co-hosted by Palau and the United States and held in Koror, Palau, April 13-14.
