Sponsor our L2P Program

City of Boroondara is offering local organisations the opportunity to sponsor our Transport Accident Commission (TAC) L2P Program, a community-based initiative designed to assist young learners who do not have access to a supervising driver or an appropriate vehicle to gain the driving experience required for a probationary license.

About the L2P Program

Our program matches eligible learners with a vehicle and fully licensed volunteer mentor driver to help learners gain driving experience. Before being matched with a volunteer mentor and throughout the course of their L2P driving journey, participating learners have access to several free driving lessons with a professional driving instructor.

So far, this initiative has been hugely successful in supporting disadvantaged young people who would otherwise struggle to obtain their license.

How you can get involved

The L2P program receives partial funding from the TAC who invite local organisations to partner with them on its delivery across Victoria. This means you have the opportunity to enhance its viability, by helping us fund all on-road and related costs associated with the program.

Your sponsorship, whilst increasing brand visibility, will allow this initiative to grow and develop further, reaching more of those in our community in need of our support.
